The control of our charter yachts is so simple, experience is not necessary. We provide the necessary instructions before your departure. Our boats require no skipper’s license on the Belgian and French inland waterways.
Belgium does not require a skipper’s license for boats less than 15 meters moving slower that 20 km/h. In France, there is an agreement with the government that determines that the charter of vacation boats are exempted from requiring a skipper’s license.
Our team obviously provides the necessary navigating instructions. The instructor will take a short trip with the guests until you are comfortable and capable to control the boat. We show you how to navigate, what to be on the lookout for, and how to moor the boat. We also deal with the necessary information on locks. Together, we ensure you are able to control the yacht in a relaxed and safe way. This is also the time to ask all your questions. Our people are familiar with the region and with the navigation area. So, you will depart as a fully trained captain with knowledge of the region.
